- In our Centenary Year Nomads played two matches in France in 2003 and two at Crouch End, winning three and losing one

In the modern era Nomads CC has travelled to Paris to play Standard Athletic Club at Meudon, Thoiry west of Versailles, Les Ormes CC near Dol de Bretagne and Saumur CC beside the Loire river west of Tours as well as Entrecasteaux and Cabris/Riviere in Provence.In 2007 Momads played Chantilly for the first time.

There is however a continuing French connection within Nomads as many members have played in France for French clubs such as James Drayton, Paul Wakefield, Julian Smith, Julian Howe,Mark Surridge, Robert Wycherley, Simon Barter and Nial Thorburn among others and Krishna Lester founder of Saumur CC is an honorary member of Nomads CC. Both Chris Bartlett and Andy German have played for Nomads while visiting UK.But the French connection goes deeper with wives and mothers of Nomads being French and several Nomads have second homes in France. Several Nomads have represented France in international matches and competitions including Paul Wakefield,Mark Surridge and Julian Howe.
