We stay two nights in Chantilly,one night in Thoiry and one on Meudon

You may travel by car(ferry or tunnel),Eurostar or fly.Depending on the number of cars going direct will be the number of spaces available and or the need to hire additional transport.

This tour was cancelled late. Quite suddenly we lost Kevin Laundon & Geoff Evans from Spain then Andy Smith and his two sons followed the next day by Paul Wakefield and his son in law(a wicket Keeper) leaving us with Bill Rodwell and myself plus Bill Johnson and James While. Meantime Stephen Byng based in Paris became unavailable and Jack Hardy and friends were only available for Monday. Bill and I had been confident of filling the spare seat in our car with a player. So we dwindled from a possible ten/eleven to a mere 4.

An ironic twist to this cancellation is that had we been playing in France probably I wopuld noyt have injured my shoulder (batting for Northwood thirds in the Herts League) and rather more importantly James While would not have had his left forearm broken. For the forthcoming Spanish tour this was bad news as well.
