MATCH 51 Nomads CC  v   Leatherhead & Cobham CC  Sunday October 1st 1.00pm , Fetcham,Leatherhead Surrey

 

Leatherhead ,despite amalgamating with Cobham who themselves had previously combined with Old Surbitonians could only raise three for this match so Ockham CC stood in with the match to be played at Leatherhead. Ockham used to be an early season regular Nomads fixture some 20 years ago. 

Nomads suffered several drop outs for this game but were well subscribed and so still had 12 available for the game.

 

The final squad was: ME Blumberg,GC Lamb, O Croom-Johnson, A Smith, LT Smillie, R Wycherley, D Morley-Clarke, C Fellows-Smith, R Woolhouse, S Kattaboyana, S Blake. 12th man Ms I Duncan.

M Thewlis,J Wild & N Lamb had to withdraw.

Heavy overnight rain and more the next morning forced an abandoned of the game withourt a ball being bowled. A rotten end to the season.
