E-Commerce

It is easy to sell products on-line. We use several excellent e-commerce systems from well established, market leaders that can either be set up as a stand alone shop site, or integrated into an existing web site.

We charge you what our suppliers charge us, plus a support/management fee. This varies according to which product you need, but for example, the basic system costs £350 plus VAT, including "on tap" support and training. The more complex systems, such as Roman Cart's top level system, which enables you to sell downloadable goods and tickets, cost from £650 plus VAT per annum, including "on tap" support and training.

 

NB: These figures are in addition to your domain hosting and management charges, and do not include production costs involved in setting up your shop and adding initial products for you.


If you already have a Universal Payment Gateway we can hook up the E-Commerce system to process your payments either off-line or real time. If you do not already have credit card facilities in place to take payments on-line, we can help you set up a Universal Payment Gateway so that you can do so.


Downloadable Products and Tickets

We can now provide an upgraded shop system that enables you to sell downloadable items, such as e-books/publications, audio or video training lessons or music, or tickets for events.

It's a great business model as you simply upload the "product" and the customer downloads it, reducing product handling, admin, packaging and postage to zero.

 

Customers are given a URL to go to with 48 hour timeout, to avoid the link being used by others to download your items, although this option can be removed if required. We can also configure the system to send usernames and passwords with the download if your files require it. This adds an extra layer of security.

 

The Internet is also the best place to sell tickets for any event or occasion too. Your box office will be open 24/7 and your customers will automatically receive their tickets by email so the entire ticket process is automated. You can have different ticket types for an event and can limit the number of tickets available. Your customers will receive a barcode and entry code on their confirmation email which can be used at the door of the event to validate the ticket.
